PENDING DISASTER

Just as things were starting to get back to normal for many residents, more returning daily plus a few new residents who have migrated to our bustling city, this poster began appearing on the street lamps and store fronts and alley ways in AAcme City:

***Warning*** This is NOT a test - Repeat – this is NOT a test ***Warning*** Evacuate!  Evacuate!   Evacuate!   Evacuate!   Evacuate!   Evacuate!   Evacuate!

To all residents of AAcme City North on the sim of Elandia  in the far northern reaches of Mainland II in the virtual world of InWorldz.  It is with a heavy heart I notify you today of pending disaster for the northern half of our great city. Reports have been confirmed – after the world’s near miss with disaster this past week, a second giant asteroid has been discovered hurtling straight for us. At nearly twice the size of ‘433 Eros’ and with its current rate of trajectory it is projected to reach our atmosphere on February 22, 2012 with devastating result to AAcme City North. All inhabitants of AAcme City North are urged to begin evacuation immediately. Residents and shopkeepers responding quickly may move their belongings to the South side of the City. Evacuation must be complete no later than midnight on Sunday, February 19, 2012 to avoid total destruction of anything that remains. Please evacuate in a sensible and orderly fashion. Above all – save yourselves but DO NOT PANIC. Contact Sunbeam Magic or ML Smith with questions or for help with evacuation/relocation. I repeat - Do not panic!

***Warning*** This is NOT a test - Repeat – this is NOT a test ***Warning*** Evacuate!  Evacuate!   Evacuate!   Evacuate!   Evacuate!   Evacuate!   Evacuate!

What will happen next to the these poor folks and furries and mermaids and tinies who call AAcme City home.  Haven't they gone through enough with the petroleum wars, the Robot army, AAcme Falls evil ways, the Red Poison cloud and now a Meteor storm which will destroy the Northside???   We shall miss The Northside with it's warm inviting Waffle Hut, Bowling Alley, Little Japan, the Moonlight Club, 7/11, The Soup Kitchen and homeless area not to mention all the small retail shops and our barber shop and oh yeah the only gas station around for miles!  Can they survive another disaster? Will they survive another disaster?  Stay tuned.
